It is finally that time a year where my bad habit of over-eating is socially acceptable! I am so excited to start getting together with friends and family to celebrate all there is to be grateful for in 2018! (Oh, and stuff myself beyond comfort!) When getting together for these gatherings, I want to be comfortable, but still cute! I’ve pulled together four outfits that are so cute but provide maximum comfort!

Now, pass the mashed potatoes!

Fall Transition Pieces Under $50

Happy first day of September!

Wow, where has the year gone?

I love Fall, actually, I genuinely look forward to all seasons, but this time of year holds a special place in my heart. Fall means cooler weather, football season, chai tea lattes (I know, where’s the PSL love?!) and the beginning of holiday decorations! Although I still think of September as Fall, down here in Texas, that Summer weather tends to stick around a lot longer than I expect. It’s cool in the mornings, but then it warms up in the afternoon, so layering is a must. Today, I’ve put together a good group of summer-to-fall transition pieces that are all under $50. I think we can all appreciate that!

Take a peak, and tell me your favorites! Also, leave me a comment with some of your must-have transition pieces!

Fall Transition Collage

  1. Ruffle Sleeve Tshirt Dress. $40
For you dress lovers out there, this simple dress with ruffle sleeves can easily be dressed up with a pair of pumps, or word casually with a cute pair of sneakers.
  2. Button Back Dress. $25
This is a good black dress that can be paired with a cardigan or utility jacket as the weather gets chillier.
  3. Scoop Neck Tank. $6
I will be living in this tank. I mean, SIX dollars!?
  4. Lace-Trim Satin Cami. $28
Satin and lace kind of screams scandalous, but this cute little number under a chunky sweater and I think you have a very cute transition look.
  5. Distressed Boyfriend Jeans. $28
A good pair of boyfriend jeans can complete an outfit! I’m already planning on wearing these multiple times a week!
  6. Knit Black Pant. $25
I consider these “work pants” but they’re so comfortable, that I even wear them on the weekends! They’re a great way to jazz up a t-shirt!
  7. Aviators. $30
Aviators are in every seasonal wardrobe for me, but
  8. Laser-Cut Bootie. $38
I live for booties in the Fall! These are a designer dupe and super comfortable.
  9. V-Cut Ankle Bootie. $25
Again, booties! Cognac is THE color for fall, and these V-cut booties are gorgeous.
  10. Suede Mules. $23
I have been obsessed with this color for a while now, but I still have to force myself not to buy everything in Rose! I’ll let it slide for these. (See what I did there!?)
  11. Ballet Flats.$20
These black studded flats are a great budget-friendly alternative to the Steve Madden Studded Mule.
  12. Felt Fedora. $16
A good hat is never out of season. This one is the perfect color and extremely affordable!
  13. Tie-Front Shirt. $20
This is such a classic and simple piece that I feel we all need in our close. Also, it comes in several colors, so take your pick!
  14. Lightweight Sweater. $22
This sweater is so good I want it in multiple colors! Dress it up with a pair of slacks or throw on a pair of jeans for the weekend.
  15. Long Cardigan. $40
The color on this cardigan is everything! Pair it with a cami or a tucked in button up.
  16. Ruffle Sleeve Sweater. $20
How classy is this ruffle sleeve sweater? This will certainly be worn to happy hour with the girls!
  17. Striped Knit Top. $20
I will never pass up a simple over-sized shirt, so comfy!
  18. Camo Utility Jacket. $30
I want this jacket in every color, but apparently so does everyone else! Some colors are low on sizes, but this camo style is still available in all sizes. Get it while you still can!
